Story

Hello

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  the Sygnets are supporting The Children's Society this year as one of their chosen charities.

With over 100,000 children running away from home each year, providing a safe refuge is more and more important.  The Children’s Society takes action to prevent, rescue and support children facing life trapped in a vicious circle of fear and harm.  The Society is committed to making childhood better for all children in the UK.

The Sygnets and their friends are taking time out to walk a whopping 22 miles each on the Nidderdale Charity Walk on 16 May.  Many of us have not attempted such a distance before but are willing to suffer the blisters and aching limbs to raise money for this important charity.

The money the Sygnets raise will go some way towards providing an important source of income for the chairty to continue their vital work. Every penny raised can make a real difference to a child who needs support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks
