The Healix PE Department are at it again! This time we are off to Edinburgh to run the Full or Half Marathon on Sunday 31st May 2015. We are raising money for the Princess Alice Hospice, Esher and would be grateful for any donation that you are able to make so that we can hit our target of £2,500.

Runners, Martina Clasen and Gina Chapman are running in memory of loved ones. Please read below.

Gina is running in memory of her father in law, Robert, who died of Alzheimer’s in 1994, and also for her brother, Chris, who died in 2004 from a cancerous brain tumour.  Chris received high-quality and compassionate care from all the staff at the Princess Alice hospice in his final days and both are hugely missed by all the family.

Martina is running in memory of her mum, Catherine, who suffered from early-onset Alzheimer’s, and her sister, Fiona, who received wonderful hospice care towards the end of her fight against breast cancer.  Both are desperately loved and missed.
