I am participating in the global Thomson Reuters Foundation Ambassador Challenge to help raise awareness and money for the Foundation. The winner of the Challenge will be flown to the annual Trust Conference on an all-expense paid trip and will become the Foundation's Ambassador.

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Thomson Reuters which is an independently registered charity in the US and the UK. The Foundation has six core programs: (1) Trust Conference; (2) TrustLaw; (3) Under-Reported New, (4) Media development, (5) Training, and (6) Institute for the Study of Journalism. The money raised will go towards providing scholarships to international human rights activists working in the areas of sex trafficking, slavery, women's rights, and many other issues to attend the Trust Conference. The Trust Conference is the world's leading forum in the fight against slavery and trafficking. By attending the conference these activists will have access to global leaders and resources that will further assist them in the important work they do back in their communities.
