Story

Helllo Everyone

The Association of Post Natal Illness is a charity dedicated to helping mothers with post-natal illness.  Their work in supporting mothers is absolutely vital and the charity requires constant funding to help the tens of thousands of women suffering from this 'silent epidemic'.  Not only does the charity provide one-to-one support for mothers in need, but also works to raise awareness and encourage research into the illness.

After the birth of my second child I suffered severe post natal depression and for a long time I was in a very dark place. At its worst and darkest time I feared for my childrens safety. I was strong enough to 'walk away' and get myself better but at a high cost. It was a long challanging road to being happy again and now I would like to give something back by raising awareness.

Please help me by donating anything you can to this charity.

About the charity

Our charity offers information, advice and support to women who suffer from post-natal depression and their families. We have volunteers who have had the illness and recovered who offer support by phone, e-mail or post. Our aim is to offer hope to sufferers and support them while they are ill.
