'Ello! This summer I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for The Little Things charity. Much like Bilbo Baggins, I am very excited for this adventure!

The Little Things raises money and delivers projects to developing countries in need of healthcare equipment. As a dental student, I have seen the need for healthcare in our country and I strongly believe that no one should be denied access to it, especially because of money. Adequate healthcare plays a big part in improving the quality of life of our fellow man and woman.

Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world and is something I have wanted to climb for a long time (despite my short stature)! Half of my family lived in Tanzania and it would be great to see my family's history. Coincidentally, the other half of my family were raised in Uganda, and the funds from this trip will be going towards refurbishing a children's hospital ward there.
