Myself, Ekta, Simon, Irena and Andy are doing the BUPA 10K Edinburgh run to raise money for the Sick Kids to thank them for everything they did for my wee boy Ethan.

He spent 5 weeks in there with very bad Bronchiolitis and on the day we took him in his body started shutting down. He had to be rescucitated in front of us which was terrifying. He then spent 2 weeks on a ventilator, went through a 5 hour operation on his throat then had to be weaned of all the medication he had been on which took another couple of weeks due to the length of time he had been on them. He has been through a lot but as you can see is still a very happy baby!

As you can imagine this was a horrible time for us but the staff at the Sick Kids were fantastic and the services they provide for parents in this type of situation are invaluable. I can never thank them enough but you can help me by sponsoring us for the 10K run. I am sure you all know someone who the Sick Kids have helped at some point so please make a donation, whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated by us all.
