We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones
Story
Thank you so much for visiting our Justgiving page.
Mary, Kinloch, Louise, Sophie, Nikki and Clare have all gone a little crazy and decided it’s a good idea to complete a 10-mile night trek around our beautiful capital city, !
It is not all just for fun, though - we are doing this to raise money for Maggie’s Centres, a cancer caring charity.
Maggie’s has a number of centres around the which provide emotional support, group classes and advice to cancer sufferers and their families. This disease touches every family, and Clare’s mum has been lucky enough to receive such amazing support from the Glasgow Maggie’s Centre throughout her long battle with cancer that we thought we should get involved in their annual night hike.
The hike, which will be on the Friday, 17 September, will start off from Guildhall, near ’s Cathedral and will follow a route through night time past many architectural landmarks, before finishing up back where we started.
And so this is where you come in. We really need as much support as possible – it doesn’t matter if it is £2 or £200, whatever you can spare is really appreciated.
Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need.
