We provide support and information to those affected by endometriosis

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Teesside and Durham Endometriosis Support Group are a group of ladies who suffer from the condition and are dedicated to raising awareness of this chronic and debilitating disease.

Endometriosis is a condition where endometrial cells lining the womb grow elsewhere in the body. Each month these cells bleed but there is nowhere for the blood to leave the body. This causes inflammation, pain, adhesions and scar tissue.

Currently there is no cure for the disease and treatment consists of repeated surgeries, hormone treatment and pain relief.

Endometriosis UK is a national charity who provide vital support services and reliable information for women and their families affected by the condition. Endometriosis UK is a small organisation funded by donations from the public. They strive to improve the lives of people affected by the disease and make big changes in the Endometriosis world.

Please show your support and make a donation on this website.
