Story

5AMR gym staff are running 24 military personal fitness assessments in 24 hours to raise money for the local mountain rescue charity. This will consist of a total of 36 miles of running, 1054 press ups and 1200 sit ups each in 24 hours. A hard challenge but a worth while cause. We appreciate all the support and donations in this challenge and thank everyone who takes the time out to support us or donate, thanks in advance and we will give it our all. 

About the charity

Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team comprises c40 members, all volunteers, who are available at all times of the day and night in any weather, 365 days per year, to assist those in distress or lost in the remote areas of Swaledale & Wensleydale, North Yorkshire. We are funded entirely from donations.
