I've always given to other fundraising pages but never done one of my own so, since I'd already planned to have a "dry" session in September I decided it was dry time I did my own fundraising session so I decided to extend it to the end of the year - 4 months -  122 days and for each day I'm dry I'm donating at least £1 and yes, that DOES include Xmas day.  If anyone fancies sponsoring me then I'd be delighted to accept your donations as, obviously, would EMW. Any amount be it £1 or £10 or more will be much appreciated.

Equine Market Watch are a small, charity who I've known about and supported for a good number of years. It's primarily run by one lovely lady and her family, wonderfully supported by a small group of volunteers.

"The charity relies on public donations to meet expenses incurred caring for our resident horses and ponies at our small yard in rural Herefordshire, the majority of our horses and ponies our out in long term loan or foster care homes across the UK. We have no waged employees but the charity is staffed by dedicated volunteeers working, in rotation shifts, covering 7 days a week 52 weeks a year for equine welfare.

EMW UK work alongside all other welfare agencies, in our work at auctions, markets and horse fairs across the UK.

EMW UK is dedicated to monitoring the welfare of  equines in markets and auctions. EMW UK actively campaigns against indiscriminate breeding of valueless foals whose average life span is a scant miserable 6 months and are active with regard to live transportation issues."
