This fine expedition, led by Depot boss Martin Wannell, will begin in the Call Centre in Newcastle and the 84 mile walk will see the eager leaders stopping in youth hostels and even spending a night in an unheated barn. They have begun their preparation in the chiller without fleeces.

Of course there is more to this than blisters and bunions, the crew are hoping to raise £5,000 for Clic Sargent in this endeavour and you can support them in this without setting foot on the frozen fields of Northumberland.
