Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon this year, for the second (and probably last!) time in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Disney has been supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital for over 70 years, and in 2008 we launched a partnership aimed at raising £10m towards the hospital's redevelopment appeal. The money we raise will be contributing towards building a new restaurant for the staff and the families.

I have been so impressed by the way our staff - our "cast members" - and our businesses have supported the appeal  with multiple activities over the last two years. I am heavily involved in the partnership but wanted to add my own personal contribution towards our target. Having seen the fantastic work of the hospital,  the warmth and support of the staff , and the courage and strength of the young  patients and their families,  I cannot think of a better charity to support in this endeavour. Being the mother of two wonderful, healthy girls makes the work of the hospital even more pertinent.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you so much.
