Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
The 3 of us - soon to be called the 3 Cycling Musketeers! - are participating in the Thames Bridges Bike Ride on 23rd May, in aid of The Stroke Association, and we would like to ask for your support and encouragement (particularly in the form of donations!)
Around 150,000 people a year in the UK have a stroke. Stroke has a greater disability impact than many other medical conditions and many people end up having to live with long-term disabilities as a result. The Stroke Association is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families with a variety of services.
Our ride will start on the Southbank at Tower Bridge and finish near Hampton Court, 30+ miles and 13 bridges later. The last time we did this it rained all day and we ended up looking like drowned rats, so we are hoping for a better day this time and less aches and pains! We know that there are many competing demands on your money, but would be grateful for any size of donation.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
