Each year we like to host a charity event to raise money for a local cause, those of you who were here may remember that earlier this year we hosted a marathon row event which was a huge success and raised over £6000.

For 2015 we are looking to run a triathlon event with a twist!

The event will be held throughout the day on Saturday 24th January 2015 and will be raising money for Ty Hafen Childrens Hospice.

Individuals who take on the challenge to raise money will be completing a triathlon consisting of 10km on a Ski erg followed by a 10km run before finishing with a 10km row.

There will also be a scaled option for those wanting to take part but not complete the full distance and this will consist of pairing up with someone and completing it together therefore individually covering half the distance for each element.

It would be fantastic if as many people could be involved as possible so keep the date free in your diaries and watch this space for further information, sign up and sponsorship forms.

Clothing company Heavy Rep Gear will be putting everyone's name into a draw who sponsors £10 or more and give one person who's name is drawn at random a FREE t-shirt.
