Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to our JustGiving Page. We completed the 73 miles in just over 21 hours 30 minutes. We had lots of laughs, lots of massage and lots of cake! Our back-up team on the day were fabulous - we couldn't have done it without them. The support and encouragement that everyone has given us has been fantastic and very much appreciated.

Nine friends from Kilmacolm are taking on the Maggies Monster Bike and Hike on the 1st and 2nd May 2010. We are raising money for Maggies Cancer Care Centres. You may remember some of us did the Silver challenge last year and your support for that was very much appreciated. This year seven of us will go for Gold which will involve cycling 30 miles followed by a 43 mile hike from Fort William to Inverness. Our back-up team of two will make sure we are fed and clothed along the way and we hope to finish in one piece within 24 hours.

 

Maggie's Centres provide support alongside NHS hospitals for patients, their carers, family and friends. Some of you will have benefited from contact with a Maggie's Centre and your contribution to our fundraising efforts will help their excellent work.
