Story

Hello and thank you for visiting our JustGiving page!

Call us crazy but some of Stevens & Bolton's finest have decided to take the world of triathlons by storm and are taking part in this years "Crawlathon"!!!  Do not be fooled by its name, this is a highly competitive event which sees teams of lawyers, bankers, accountants and many others striving to complete a 1.2 mile swim, 13.2 mile run and 28 mile cycle....

...The decision to transform ourselves from billing desk jockeys to Racing Cheetahs has been triggered by  4 very worthwhile causes which need your help to ensure that they can carry on their incredible work.  This year all of the sponsorship raised by the teams competing in the Crawlathon will be split equally amongst:

The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre www.olivetreecancersupport.org.uk

The Centre opened in January 2004 in the grounds of Crawley Hospital and offers support to cancer patients, their families and their carers.

The Crawley & East Grinstead Parkinson's Disease Society www.parkinsons.org.uk

They provide support and advice to sufferers and families and it is their particular wish to be able to  provide special exercise classes at Crawley hospital for PD sufferers - this is where your money comes in!

Outreach 3 Way www.outreach3way.org

This aims to support people with Learning Disabilities; specifically to help people gain the confidence and skills they need to work and generally to enjoy their lives through day and residential care centres.

Crawley Open House www.crawleyopenhouse.ik.com

The people at Crawley Open House work with and care for men, women or couples  who are homeless or suffering from the effects of homelessness, unemployment  etc; they specialise in working with people that other statutory and voluntary agencies turn away.

Hopefully you'll agree they all do amazing work, so please help us raise as much as we can and give generously.

Thank you
