In October 2018, I will join a group from County Antrim to take on steep slopes and dizzying altitudes as we trek to Everest Base Camp, in aid of Friends of VisPa.

The Northern Ireland based charity supports the work of VisPa, a school and orphanage in Kisumu, Kenya.

Your donations will be used to fund the build of a new primary school, and give hundreds of children a level of education we so often take for granted.

Each member of the team is fully funding their place on the trip, so all funds raised will go towards the building project.
