CHIPS is an amazing small charity that made a big impact to my (Tim's) family growing up. They run summer holiday play schemes in my home town of Bishops Stortford for children with additional needs and, uniquely, their siblings.

For those that don't know, my younger brother Matthew has autism - so playing together or in groups was both rare & challenging.

CHIPS gave us the opportunity to hang out together, and play with other children with a range of needs. I'm sure they also provided some much needed respite for my parents! 

It must be over 20 years since my last CHIPS play group, but looking back my days at CHIPS are some of my favourite childhood memories.

It is a privilege to run for this great cause, and in a small way help them make a difference to other families
