Story
Timmis Butterflies are in action again.
This year we have decided that we will we do something a little different and we would like to support the absolutely amazing charity “The Isabel Baker Foundation” which is run by my dear friend Vicky, Mum of her gorgeous angel Isabel.
Isabel Baker was diagnosed with
Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia (ALL) when she was just 3 weeks old. We were privileged to meet her in Piam Brown Ward in Southampton Hospital and we spent time with her over a few months. Timmi loved her and call Isabel his friend. Unfortunately Isabel passed away just a week after her 1st birthday on 12th of August. Exactly 2 years later we lost our beautiful boy Timmi.
We have accepted the “Step Up challenge” and 6 of us are planning to walk, run or jog 3 million steps from 20th of July till 20th of September and we would like to ask you for a small donation that helps “The Isabel Baker Foundation” keep going with their amazing job to support bereaved parents, Isabels wishes and Crisis Fund. Each and every penny counts as for them it is a new opportunity to help another family.
The Isabel Baker Foundation are the only UK charity that financially supports bereaved parents of children with cancer. This could be for funeral costs or to allow them a little more time off work to grieve. We also support families of children on treatment and donate money for research.
