Nine years ago when my son was born I had my tenth and final knee operation. I ended up in hospital for three weeks with sepsis which was not a nice experience. My GP said I would require a knee replacement by the time I was 40.

So… what better way to celebrate my 40th birthday than a big middle finger to the GP’s by competing at the Hyrox London event in November 🤣
