MY CHALLENGE
This year I've challenged myself to run and cycle a combined 3,634 miles in 2021 and raise £3,634 ($4,982) towards releasing children from poverty through a charity called Compassion. I've chosen this number because 3,634 miles represents the distance I will be immigrating later this year from Cardiff, Wales to Harrisonburg, VA (USA). 

WHY COMPASSION?
For the last 5+ years, I've been sponsoring a child named Jeremiah from Uganda through Compassion. A small monthly donation helps Jeremiah with the essentials that I easily take for granted: clean water, food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and education.

I'm very grateful for Compassion and the opportunities they've created for us to help those living in great need. MY PROGRESS & UPCOMING PLANS
As of June 8th, I've run and cycled a total of 1,634.2 miles. As part of my overall challenge, I'm planning to complete the following:

• Cycle the North Coast 500 (500 HILLY miles around Scotland in 1 week)
• Run a Marathon
• Run 2 Half Marathons
