Thanks for taking the time to look at my fundraising event as this is a personal event for my long term friend and Boss of my work place 

Larry Dale Chief Executive  of CPI Mortars has been a friend of mine for many years and the Big Hammers Fan is not only my Boss but to all that know him is an amazing Man that has always lead by example and has time for everyone and his open door policy works from top to all levels of the work place and out of work this humble guy would act like he is just a down to earth happy family man but his position in the work place has seen him start literally from a yard man to the Chief Executive of CPI Mortars part of the Grafton Group  

Larry is just as happy with his beautiful family and friends at weekends watching local football including being chairman of a very large local children's football club which he has the same respect from this massive local team and this is why I personally hold him with the highest of regard

I got a call from Larry and asked me where I was or if I was local I said yes and when I see this normally jovial confident but humble man he didn't look himself so I said if all was good and we walked outside to have a chat ! Well the 6 th February 2017 was not to be forgotten by me Because our Boss and Great friend had been diagnosed with Testicular cancer!! The shock and total aloneness in his eyes was just heart rendering but as the man he is I gave him a hug and he carried on as he always would I literally was baffled and so sad as to why or what had caused it but with Cancer we just don't know 

Well 12 weeks later Larry is 2 stone lighter getting slimmer of the week awards which he finds embarrassing lol and he has had the Op to remove this Horrid disease he has also had treatment on top of the procedure and he recently got the All clear 💙

For the Honour of this brave man I have started training for a Trek in August this year over 24 hours to walk the Ben Nevis Mountain 4.490 feet above sea Level and then within the 24 hours complete a 12 mile high intensity hike / run across parts of the beautiful but Rugged Highlands Of Scotland 

I will be doing this event alone as when I asked if I could tell this story of this humble guy we call Larry he said yes get the awareness out there now as if this spreads its devastating and when do we really check our bits !! so I will travel by car to Fort William then I will walk the largest Mountain in the UK 🇬🇧 which will be a tough challenge then with minimal rest I will walk / run this amazing Area  over 12 miles including off rode which I know will be tough but nowhere near as what larrys been through 

Please please get involved in raising money to assist in this awful and very personal Cancer we can all make a difference and thank you for reading this I will do my best and whatva humbling experience it will be God Bless To All xx🙏
