We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.
Story
In 1998 I vowed I would never run another marathon.
6 years older and definitely 6lbs heavier I find myself committed to running another one.
Firstly becasue I am running with 2 great friends and couldn't bear the taunts of them beating my previous time.
However, the main reason for running is to raise money for research into Parkinson's, a disease that has directly affected both family and friends. Significant steps have been made into finding a cure and any help you can give will continue these advances and help support those living with the disease.
So please please sponsor me online and as a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.
The more generous you can be the better but anything you can sponsor will help all those affected with Parkinson's.
Please try to give generously! Many thanks for your support...
April Update- Training continues... with a relatively comfortable finish in 'The Kingston Breakfast Run' at end of March- 16 miles. Now tapering off with the end in site- thank goodness...
April 19th 2004- I finished in one piece although very wet and sore... My official time was 4:00:18...
Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet.
Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure.
Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives.
Together we'll find a cure.
