Story

I really believe in the power of sport to change lives. It has had a massive impact on my life and I want to ensure as many people as possible can experience its huge benefits.

Right now there are significant barriers preventing many children and young people from being physically active. Research shows that: Disabled people are twice as likely to be inactive as non-disabled people. Children & young people from the least affluent families are the least likely to be active and children & young people from ethnically diverse communities are the least likely to be active.

By the age of 16 or 17, 64% of girls will have quit sportLess than half of all children and young people are meeting the Chief Medical Officer guidelines of taking part in sport and physical activity for an average of 60 minutes or more a day. I am taking on a challenge to help Access Sport change this by creating sporting opportunities through working with grass roots sports and clubs.

Please help and thank you for your support.
