Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Kathy, Mick and Caitlin are really appreciative for all the support they have received from family, friends, work colleagues and the local community following Tom’s diagnosis.

Thomas has Burkitt-Like Lymphoma cancer, stage 3, it is a high-grade lymphoma. This means that it is fast growing and requires prompt and intensive Chemotherapy.  Thomas is trying hard to be brave through all this and although Kathy and Mick are emotionally exhausted they remain strong, brave and positive.

The Family want to raise money for a number of charities, the Royal Marsden are one of those chosen charities.  As colleagues of Kathy's we are keen to do our bit and have planned a series of bike rides across the UK - this being the first!  So please give generoursly to get us on our way!

We plan to cycle from the Royal Marsden in Sutton, where Tom has and continues to receive great treatment, to our office in Ewell, where Kathy works, on via Epsom Hospital where Tom has also received treatment, to our final destination of Brighton.  A total trip of 60 miles!  And all on Guy Fawkes so we expect Fireworks from your donation!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep :)
