Whiteknights, Yorkshire Blood bikes estimate that for each £1 they receive in donations, the NHS will save at least £5. Their volunteers provide the NHS and Hospices with an out of hours service which not only saves a substantial amount of money, but money that can be passed on to provide funding for more appropriate frontline patient care.  They transport Blood, Plasma, Tissue Samples, Documentation and other vital supplies between Hospitals, Hospices and Supply Centres.
