Story
Hi...
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During the autumn of 2013 after finishing the my first half ironman event (Outlaw Half) I wanted to set myself a bigger and better goal for 2014. Having always raced for my own personal achieivement I decided that 2014 should involve some fund raising along the way and after thinking long and hard my "Tri 2014" challenge to complete 14 different triathlons in the 2014 year was born.
The charity was easy to select. A work colleague and close friend of my wife was being treated at the Derby Royal Hospital and therefore the The Derby Hospitals Charity Fund and in particular the Combined Day Care Unit was the obvious choice.
The hard bit came in squeezing 14 races into what ended up being a 20 week period. After searching local triathlons i have planned the following races for the challenge:

As part of the challenge I will also be contacting my friends, family, work colleague and contacts to join me and take part in the Erewash Sprint Triathon in August. As part of a team of three can you complete the triathlon and record the quickest combined time to be crowned the winner?? Further details on this will follow via twitter, facebook and here.
I'm looking forward to my challenge and raising money for a good cause...hopefully seeing some of you along the way!?!?
Thanks
Steve
