MS Society 2010 London to Paris Cycle
Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society
I'll shortly be donning the spandex in an attempt to cycle from London to Paris. On the motive front, whilst it's true that my trip does indeed coincide with the city of light's largest jambon and fromage fayre, the main reason I'm riding is to raise support for the MS Society. Specifically, I'll be riding with and for a friend who lives with the challenges that MS brings on a daily basis. MS is a cruel condition and it has hit my friend and his young family very hard. They have been fortunate to have received the support of the MS Society and the benefits of the research that the MS Society helps fund. I'm keen to carry on this fund raising so that the Society can continue its work to help others similarly affected. I would therefore ask you to please consider making a donation to this excellent cause. Those making donations will also have the opportunity to leave offensive messages of support along the lines of, "It was either this or stomach staples". So donate away. Even if the cycling challenge doesn't ring your donation bell, please reflect on the fact that the ride leaves from Crystal Palace. I WILL have to travel to Croydon. This is in itself a selfless and courageous act. Many thanks for your much valued support, Tristan
