Story

WE DID IT!!!

Well done everybody and thanks to all the people how have donated!

At least two us were injured and so your money was certainly justified!

Important Update: Erm... Its going to rain...

Hi - as far as we're aware there is no story.

However there is also no reason at all why we shouldn't give up some free time, some energy and some comfort to raise money for such an obviously worthwhile cause.

So in order to seduce you into donating your precious money we have carefully gathered a team of extraordinary talent. Consisting of cyclists from all over the world, this is a group of uncompromising indivduals who are determined enough, driven enough, fit enough, smart enough and dedicated enough to deliver on this promise:

We, regardless of wind* or rain, punctures or broken chains, bad knees or strained legs, crooked backs or sore buttocks, will cycle hard and we will cycle long. We will strive to cycle so hard that we are unable to walk properly for at least 5 days post event. Thus, through awkward hobbles and general lack of agility, we should produce the equivalent comic value as 1 evening at a given local comedy club. Therefore don't go to the comedy club, give us the money that you'd spend on the ticket and enjoy humour from the comfort of your office, local pub, home or anywhere else you might find us.

* Includes Windtunnel Tests

About the charity

Against Breast Cancer are working to prevent secondary breast cancer by funding unique research into the development of new treatments, including ultimately a vaccine; improving upon current blood tests; and assessing diet and lifestyle for factors that increase the risk of secondary breast cancer.
