Abdullah Aid in association with Al-Imdaad Foundation UK will be holding a fundraising event in January 2017 in support of the people in Syria. These funds will thereafter, be distributed in February 2017. The people of Syria have been suffering for several years due to the ongoing civil war in the country. they have been displaced and left with no support whatsoever.

We will be fundraising for the people of Syria who have been affected by the war and those who have had to flee their homelands.

We have queried about the different charities donating to this cause. However, we set our mind on Abdullah Aid due to their 100% donations policy. Hence, ALL proceeds will be donated to the Syrians, with no exception.

The relevant contributions can be Zakaat / Sadaqat / Lillah

We would like you to support us on this venture with the following projects:

• Shelter homes: £1600
• Food parcels: £30
• Electric wheelchairs: £1700
• Normal wheelchairs: £100
• Hygiene packs: £10
• Sewing Machine: £115

These are merely the undertakings of Abdullah Aid in their endeavour to help the people of Syria. We urge that even if you cannot donate the above amounts or you would like to donate ambiguously towards the general imperative cause, then please do not hesitate, as during this time, the Syrians are in dire constitutional need, anything, and we emphasise anything we can give them will prove to be significant in their eyes.

The proceeds will be given directly to Abdullah Aid and Al-Imdaad Foundation UK, who will deliver them directly into the hands of the afflicted Syrians.

The people of Aleppo need us more than ever. Please, if you cannot donate, make sincere dua for them. We ask Allah the Lord of the Worlds, the most Powerful, to save the people of Aleppo. May Allah forgive us watching them go through this ordeal and showing no heed to their situation.

Just in brief, we would like to explain our situation. I am not active in the path of charity. However, witnessing several videos of the cries of the Syrian men, women, and children, drowned our heart in sorrow. The tipping point was when we watched a Muslim brother raise his hands and shout at the top of his lungs

“To those who can hear us, fear Allah. Where are you?”

We felt a terrifying guilt overwhelming us, knowing that we had done nothing whilst our fellow Muslims were going through inhumane hardships. Therefore, we ask every individual, regardless of colour or faith, to donate towards this worthy cause in the hope that if anything, we can help that little bit. That one orphan. That one widow. That one elder.

We ask that you convey this message to those close and far. Jazakallah

May Allah SWT grant them patience in this time of hardship and may Allah unite us with them in Jannatul Firdaus.

May the almighty grant you barakat and reward you abundantly.
