Hi Everyone,

As many of you will know I have recently had to experience a very close family member (my mum) discovering that they had a brain tumour.  Whilst her story has a happy ending in that it turned out to be benign, not everyone is that lucky and research into this area is vital. 

However, what most people don't know is that I also have a niece, a beautiful little girl, who has a cancerous brain tumour!  Whilst she is currently doing well this is an horrendous situation for any mother and family to be in and I feel I should be doing something to help. 

Therefore, this charity is now something that is very close to my heart - it is extremely worthwhile and I want to make a difference by doing something to raise money for them and assist with the vital research that they do.

Going for 10k may be a bit ambitious but if you don't try you will never know!
