Not long after my husband Kev was diagnosed with a brain tumour, macmillan caring locally became involved with my family and they have been truly amazing and a support we could not do without.

Earlier this year kev was admitted to the ward and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the care he received.  He now resides in a care centre in Branksome but attends the day centre twice a week. Here he takes part in quizzes, arts and crafts and by the end of the day he is tired but happy from his activities.

The unit is due for a rebuild in the near future so this money will help hugely.
