I've decided to take my first week of summer leave to jog a full marathon over the course of 7 days from 15 - 21 August. I am undertaking this challenge to benefit the victims of the explosion in Beirut.

On August 4, the city of Beirut was brought crashing down by an explosion in the port which has cut off 90% of the city's food supplies and medical aid. Already crippled by food shortages, an economic crisis and the Covid-19 Pandemic, the city is in need of DIRECT aid.

After researching several sources, I chose The World Food Programme which is escalating its efforts in Lebanon to bring food to the people at risk of hunger - now a majority of the population.
