Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am going to keep walking daily as far as I can to raise funds for a local charity based here in Cambridge. I aim to walk around 200 miles a month, I know that many of my friends and followers on social media do not have much time money or thoughts to spare when it comes to the plight of the refugees However like them or not, they are cold wet hungry humans who have lost everything and it is our duty as fellow humans to help them. I would like to raise £250 to purchase 50 hand made woollen blanket ponchos to send to Calais to help keep those poor people warm who have made it that far.. I don't care about the politics of it all, but I do care about how we humans treat our fellow humans. So if you can please donate. £5 buys one handmade warm woollen poncho and helps keep 1 person warm and dry. Those who say "Well what about out own homeless" well guys that's simple .. You are most welcome to get off the couch and come out and help them too. I am in Cambridge every second Wednesday with the charity Caring for Cambridgeshire's Homeless, together helping the Homeless with a hot meal and fresh clothes. You are very welcome to come and help or raise money yourselves to buy simple necessities such as socks and pants. :)
