It was mum’s dream to walk the Camino. Starting on 15th August I will walk the 800km pilgrimage from southwest France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain on mum’s behalf. In so doing we will raise funds for the oncology unit at Southampton Hospital where mum undertook her treatment for lung, liver and brain cancer.  

I am full of admiration for the doctors, nurses, and entire staff at the unit. Throughout mum’s treatment they were professional, dedicated and, above all, kind and compassionate. The funds we raise, your donations, will make a meaningful difference to the unit, the patients, and their families. Every £ donated goes directly to the unit and will be invested in the machinery and kit which the department needs as well as staff training.
