Story
In conjunction with UK National Pole Dance Day we are holding a 24 hour pole-athon to raise money for a fantastic local charity: The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. This may seem like a strange mix, however, a large proportion of students live in Leamington Spa and it is not a rarity to see these gorgeous pups and their wonderful trainers in practice around town. It is a fantastic cause and the charity will not rest until people who are blind and partially sighted can enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.
The Coventry Telegraph and Leamington Observer will be covering this event throughout the day with photographers and reporters milling around so prepare to hit the papers!
Whether you happen to catch us on campus, want a break from revision and essays or bring your friends to support us during this exciting challenge please do not hesitate to approach us. If you want a chat about our society or what Pole Dance entails we will be more than happy to answer your questions; you'll be surprised - our answers happen to be very different from what many people expect! We'll be on hand for little demos and lessons if you want to brave the Pole and join the fun!
