Story
Our trekking challenge takes place in the Annapurna region in the Himalayas of Nepal. We will be trekking for a total of 6 days which includes reaching the summit of Poon Hill which stands at 3,210 metres above sea level. The trek is organised by Global Adventure Challenges and as part of this challenge, we are hoping to raise some money which can be put to good use locally in Nepal by donating money to The Nepal Trust.
The Nepal Trust was founded in 1993 by Scottish businessman and ex British-Indian Army Major, Alan Jacobsen, who had served alongside Nepalese Ghurkas in WWII. If you want to know more about their projects please visit their website http://www.nepaltrust.org/
We are training hard for this trekking challenge and we appreciate donations however small, as every penny helps.
Thank you!
