Story

My family has been linked to Bronwen Jones since my uncle Lloyd Diagwane Ntswane was murdered in a racist attack in Marble Hall, South Africa in 1991. I was not even born then, but Bronwen helped the man who survived the attack as well as my father and the Mogashoa family (they also lost a son). The kindness of the Jones family led to a deep and continuing bond over 23 years.

Now in 2014 it seemed inevitable that I started to volunteer at Children of Fire; a charity born of the same kindness. I have lived with the founding burned child Dorah and cared for her. I am proud that I can walk the streets of London in September to raise money for the children who need so much help. Please support me so that somehow we can get the £9000+ needed for Feleng's nose reconstruction.

Please support me so that Children of Fire can go to the DRC again to operate on more children. I want to make the kids proud that I love so much. I hope one day I might even study medicine to help them further.

You can follow Children of Fire on Twitter @ChildrenOfFire; Facebook as  Place OfMiracles or look at the websitewww.firechildren.org.
