Story
Hello!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
This winter I put away my paddle and laced up my walking boots to try to raise £2000 for two charities by climbing Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the World. (5895m) I reached the summit at 7:30 am on Thursday 20th January, having set off from base camp at midnight. It was -20C but the sky was clear and the views were amazing.
I paid for the expedition myself so everything you donate will go straight to Muscular Dystrophy and Kids Adventurous Activities.
I've chosen Muscular Dystrophy because they are the only organisation I know of who are trying to find a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a condition my niece, Eliza, was born with. Kids Adventurous Activities enables young people with disabilities to take part in outdoor adventures including sailing and canoeing.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you!
