Between 6 to 10 July 2011, I will be joining around 80 people cycling from London to Paris as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's London - Paris Cycling Challenge.  I will be cycling for 4 consecutive days and covering over 470km.

It will be an extremely testing challenge and the months of preparation and training will be tough but I am doing this in order to raise money for Macmillan.  Last year my girlfriend's family experienced the care and support offered by Macmillan and this definitely is a worthwhile charity.

I have pledged to raise a minimum of £1,400 to take part in the event, of which at least 65% will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, 100% of any sum raised over this amount will benefit the charity..
