We offer vital services and support to help homeless people change their lives

Story

Will and I have both been inspired by other students raising money for fantastic causes, but we were rather stumped for ideas; we are both quite attached to our hair and are not born athletes (well, speaking for myself at least). Inspiration came on Shrove Tuesday last term, when we were discussing our quite different tastes in clothing, and it was soon agreed that from Sunday 28th April until the evening of Tuesday 30th April, we would only dress with clothes borrowed from the other's wardrobe in order to raise money for the work of Winter Comfort, a charity which seeks to equip the homeless population of Cambridge for future employment and life off the streets. More details about the work of Winter Comfort can be found on its website here: https://wintercomfort.org.uk/whatwedo

About the charity

It is a charity that supports homeless people and people that are vulnerably housed in Cambridge. A day centre, it offers vital welfare services, opportunities for learning and development, with the aim of helping people get their lives back on track.
