We humanitarian funds to help the affected people and communities

Story

The Syrian conflict has ravaged the country leaving not only devastation in its path but also a major humanitarian crises. With over 2 million refugees, half of which are women and children, and winter fast approaching many are asking for ways to help.

Watan organisation have launched this campaign in the efforts to raise funds to buy much needed winter clothing and blankets for these refugees to stay warm during, what is predicted to be, a very harsh winter season.

Two of our team members Arwa El-khani and Dr. Marya Darwish  represented team Watan UK along with the other hard working selfless Watan teams from around the world. Collectively they were able to raise over $100,000 for winter aid, with donations still coming in as the winter only gets colder and more unbearable. During their visit to affected regions they were able to distribute a large number of thick winter blankets to affected families to help keep them warm this winter.

With your support the Syrian refugee families will be provided with items such as heavy winter coats, boots and blankets.

By the time you have finished reading this more winter aid would have been distributed inside Syria by our teams on the ground there. They have been working around-the-clock to ensure that  Syrian families don't go to sleep cold tonight.

So, please join us for this worthy event and help support the Syrian people.

Please share and donate on line today.

Thank you,

Watan UK team
