Who are Young Carers?
Young Carers is a charity that supports young people who help to care for a family member. This can be a parent with a physical disability, mental health illness, alcohol or substance misuse or a sibling with physical or behavioural difficulties.
Being a Young Carer can mean a lot of responsibilty and sometimes missing out on social opportunities that other young people take for granted. We rely on funding to provide respite and support for these young people
Morocco
15 of our older Young Carers decided that they would like a challenge. So we decided to climb the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and North Africa, standing at 4,167 metres and raise £16000 to get there.
We are raising all the money ourselves AND we are climbing Mount Snowdon for training so please sponsor us!!! You know you want to.
If you have any more questions about this trip, or would like to do your own sponsored something or help to plan an event for fundraising, Sarah Beavis would be happy to take your calls J
Many thanks for your support!
