YMCA Guildford has a range of services that work to
tackle the root causes of youth homelessness, including:
YMCA Guildford's aim is that all young people can belong, contribute and thrive. All money raised from Sleep Easy 2020 will be used to change young lives through a range of activities developed to support our most vulnerable young people become independent through our more than a room groupwork model.
Below are examples of how your donations can support
local young people in crisis:
£20 pays for a week of breakfast club to enable young people to socialise and build connections with other young people
£120 pays for a bike, helmet and training to enable a young person to get to work or college
£200 pays for art materials to run art therapy sessions for 3 months
£1000 pays for 10 barge trips - helping young people build confidence with water, team building sessions and volunteering
£5000 pays for a youth worker to run regular Friday sessions for a whole year
