Story

For our NCS Social Action project, Gateshead Team 2 is raising awareness and fundraising for Young Carers Gateshead. We will be talking to people in Gateshead and Newcastle on Tuesday and holding a charity quiz night on Wednesday. 

We have chosen this group because it has helped two members of our team and needs help to continue the fantastic work that it does. 

About the charity

We are a leading local provider of quality support services for Carers, the people they care for and their families. We are the only service who provide support to young carers in the Gateshead area and currently work with over 900 families helping carers to make a life of their own.
