Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sue and I became friends in 2013, and we shared the same passion for animals and cycling! We had many cycling adventures together, some more successful than others, but we both loved a challenge and were equally as stubborn as each other not to give up once we'd set our minds to something!
Sue and I had planned to do the Way of the Roses cycle ride (Morecambe Bay to Bridlington) at the beginning of September this year, which we had arranged before the nightmare for Sue began. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a reasonable amount of time with Sue after her diagnosis, and throughout this awful time Sue somehow managed to keep positive about the things she wanted (and was still able) to do. Sadly, it wasn't possible for the "pink fizz" list to have our cycle tour on it, so six of us fellow cyclists have decided to do the same ride on the same dates that Sue and I had planned.
So, on September 1st, a group of us will set off on our bikes to do the five day 170 mile cycle tour to Bridlington to raise money for Myton Hospice where Sue received such wonderful care.
