Hey Guys,

It's that time of year again when we eat our own body weight in food, and spend the New Year making resolutions to go on diets and hitting the gym. You either love or hate Christmas, but it still exists! I love Christmas and all the self indulgent that comes with it, but it's also a time of reflection and think of those less fortunate than ourselves. This is why I've decided to do a selfless deed and raise money for Cancer Research by shaving my head, yep that's right I'm shaving my head and doing a Britney. My waist length hair will soon be gone and the hair will be donated to Locks of Love which is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

I don't have a target amount to achieve other than to raise as much money as possible, I figured I'll only get disappointed if I failed to meet the target. I know it's an awful time of year to ask for donations but Christmas is about giving and every little bit helps. I'll be shaving my head some time in January but I'll keep the donation slot open until end of January for you guys to save some money. Obviously there will be photographic evidence to capture the event, but the actual date of head shave is yet to be confirmed, other than some time January 2011 as I have to check my housemates' diaries as I can't take photos and shave my head at the same time (I'm not that great at multi-tasking). Now you know what I'm doing, show me the money!
