I finished the half marathon in 1:57:45. Thank you to everyone who came and supported as well as all those who have sponsored me. It was hard, especially with the rain and firefighting kit but it was worth it.

I am running the Warrington Half Marathon to help raise money for the work that Cheshire Fire Cadets will do in Ghana. The Cheshire Fire cadets including myself plan to go out and build a school in Ghana for two weeks in the summer of 2011.

The challenge of raising the money will be almost as difficult as the physical work of building the school. But all the effort that everyone puts into this will be made worthwhile when the school is finally built.
