Dan was a volunteer and youth mentor for 4 years at a charity called New Routes. New Routes is a Norwich based charity that works at the grassroots level with recently resettled ethnic minority individuals, families, young people, and communities in Norwich. They run a load of fantastic programmes, such as youth mentoring, family and homework clubs, English tutoring and more. New Routes works with all refugee/asylum seeker/migrant communities that are settled in Norwich, and as the government extends its support to the refugee crisis in Ukraine, will benefit from additional funding to help support even more people.
