Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Zaynah and I'm 9 years old! In June 2011 I watched Amanda-Jane run her first Race for Life, I saw lots of other little girls taking part in pink outfits and asked if she would run it with me the next year. She said yes!

We did a little bit of training but I was spending a lot of time through in Bonnyrigg because my Grandad was very unwell with MND. I decided to still come and take part in the Race for Life 2012, as I'd raised over £100 and we ran it together with Hayley in just under 45mins.

Unfortunately my Grandad passed away while we were half way round.

I was really very upset but I decided that I would make my Grandad proud by keeping running and raising money for great charities. I took part in Race for Life again this year and did it in 40mins. Taking nearly 5mins off my PB!!

In September I will run a 5k in under 40mins for MND Scotland. They do great work to help people suffering with MND and their families cope with this terrible disease.

Please help me do something for them by sponsoring me, whether it's £1 or £5, every single penny helps to make life easier for those living with MND in Scotland!
